I have to admit that I thought that Donald Miller would be a blink in the world’s eye with Blue Like Jazz. Not many authors have the ability to grab you time and time again but, Miller has done it again to me. A Million Miles In a Thousand Years allows you to see into the world of a very honest man. His ability to make fun of himself and open up the door to his life experiences brings you into a real world story.
You may not walk side by side with Miller with his thoughts, beliefs, and ideas but, this book will still make you think more about your life and what you have done with it than many others out there. As you read you will find yourself reflecting back in to your life through the years and wonder what you had been doing, why you where doing it and how can I change the direction I am going now.
You have a story; we all have a story and your actions can change your story. Our choices to live life a curtain way affects our story and this books will make you think twice about each decision we make in regards to our lives and the effects it has on it.
